What is a Certificate of Competency?

A Certificate of Competency is for professionals that are seeking a level of training that ensures you are properly applying the techniques in the course.

This involves (3) video reviews of your patients' oral function sessions, (3) video reviews teaching parents the oral function exercises, (2) video reviews of your patients' oral function evaluations, and a verbal clinical challenge session with questions based on patient situations that will help expand your problem solving skills.

A Certificate of Competency also provides you with one-on-one time with the presenter to ask questions and gain a high level of confidence moving forward.

How Does it Differ from a Certificate of Completion?

A Certificate of Completion provides acknowledgement that you have completed the course. A Certificate of Competency provides proof that you have taken significant steps to be approved as Competent to provide the services learned.

The Certificate of Competence is similar to a level 3 or level 4 live seminar or advanced in-person course. The significant benefit of this program is that you receive 12 months of live forum assistance with the course.
